Olives

<pre>Hi folks,
I am not too sure if this is off topic. If so, my apologies.

So far, I have not seen any Olive Oil from China. I am not sure if
there is any. Could anyone enlighten me on this? At home, I am now
experimenting cooking Chinese dishes with Olive Oil.

What I also want to ask here is, apart from Olive Oil, are there any
other industries related to Olives? In China, preserved olives are a
great thing with the Chinese. Some are for better digestion. Some are
sold as tidbits. I remember my schooldays when we would go to the
tidbit stall to buy a wrapping of three dried preserved olives for 5
Singapore cents. Nowadays, it is more expensive.

Cheers!
