Inaugural Table Olive Competition. Closing date for entries is Friday
September 1, 2000.

There are 4 classes of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and 2 classes of Table Olives
being judged

The oils that are judged to be free of faults and are judged to be of extra
virgin status by the Australian Organoleptic Panel have the opportunity to
be automatically included in a new publication - "The Australian and NZ
Guide to Extra Virgin Olive Oils" due for release this year.
