Regarding olive trees in Florida. I have no doubt the tree will grow.
The big question is flowering and fruiting. Generally the olive needs a
period of low temperatures to flower and set fruit. A rough guide is -
the coldest month should have an average daily temperature of 10-12C.
Above this range fruiting can be reduced. If you can send information
about your local temperatures, I may be able to give you more definitive
information.
