<pre>Hi folks,
This may be another dumb question of mine. Today, I went to the Carrefour in
Singapore and I bought a few bottles of Ectra Virgin Olive Oil (imported by
Carrefour) with label in French. The little translated label on the plastic
bottle (the first time I came across olive oil in a plastic bottle) stated it as
Extra Virgin Olive Oli [Huile d'Olive Vierge Extra]. And the stated country of
origin is France.
My question is, unless the bottle is so expensive, what could be the other
factors that this bottle (1 litre) imported by Carrefour costs S$6.50 (about
USD3.80] versus a Spanish bottle (glass bottle) at S$9.90 [USD5.80]. I just want
to make sure that I am buying the real natural Olive Oil. (^^)
