In case you are not aware, Lampante olive oil is the lowest quality of olive
oil for sale. It is usually extracted using solvents and is only good for
use in lamps and other low quality applications.

ps I have many contacts in the American olive oil market.

A marketing strategy could be to:

1. setup our website "Outremer Olive Oil" - a possible name for one of our
olive oil products, perhaps our flagship (our best olive oil), "Outremer
Olive Oil". Outremer is Frankish (during the Crusade period) for the Middle
Sea and our French and German markets will identify with that. The website
could feature Krak des Chevaliers and our marketing and publicity could say
something like
........under the ramparts of the mighty Krak des Chevaliers the olive
groves in Wadi Nusaria preceded the invasion of the Crusaders. Olives have
existed here long before the Kurds first fortified the hill top which now
hosts the most famous castle in the world. Pictures of the Krak des
Chevaliers, olive groves nearby, etc etc etc. The most famous leader against
the Crusaders was a Kurd - Salah ad Din. We also weave a little story around
him too.

The idea would be to make our oil world famous and to appeal to the boutique
market. So instead of selling for 2.50 per (was that for 500ml or
750ml)bottle we could sell it for 10.50 per bottle.

Other marketing strategies may include travel to the olive groves of Syria,
and of course to take in the mighty Krak des Chevaliers at the same time.
Driving on to Palymra from Homs our tourists can stay on your farm in
Bedouin tents before proceeding on to Zenobia and the mighty Palymerenes.

Anyway, you know all of this don't you?
