<pre>We are all aware of the health benefits of olive oil although I have to
admit to having a somewhat comfortable figure, possibly as a result of using
too much!
Can anyone offer any thoughts on the subject of the transmission of disease
through olive oil. Is olive oil a suitable medium for the growth of "tummy
bugs"? If, during the processing, storage or bottling processes, bacteria
enter the oil will they survive and/or multiply?
I apologise if this subject has been well aired in the past before I joined
the Group, but if it has, I would be grateful for a rehearsal of the
discussion.
