For as long as California olive oil remains at current
price levels, I do not believe that the recent
increase in the exchange rate of the EURO will have a
significant effect on European olive oil exports to
the US.

In my last e-mail to you I had mentioned that the
European authorities have placed a great emphasis upon
improving the quality of regional olive oils and
focusing more on organic production. If these trends
continue, European exports will benefit.
