In the Hunter Valley this years vintage has just begun. My dictionary has
several definitions for vintage, one of them being, 'the gathering of grapes for
winemaking'.

I would be interested to know if there a similar word for 'the gathering of
olives for oil making'.
I am not aware of a word in the English language, perhaps there is one or
perhaps there is in one or all of the Arabic, Italian, Greek or Spanish
languages.
