<pre>The sponsors of the Northern Olive Oil Show in South Australia were delighted to
receive overseas entries for this season's Show.
We congratulate Sebnem Aydmir and Taylieli Olive and Olive Oil Establishment on
being awarded a bronze medal for their Selection Olive Oil.
Another entry of oil infused with tangerine was not eligible to be judged with
EVOOs but the judges were so impressed with the fresh clean oil that it was
awarded a special Certificate of Commendation. The judges commented that
infusion was sometimes used to hide a faulty oil. This oil was infused at the
time of processing and the result was an appealing oil which was voted runner-up
in the most popular oil chosen by visitors to the Show.
In the class for product presentation (bottles, seals, labels and general
suitability and appeal) Taylieli were runners up for best in class and were
awarded a bronze medal.
Well done Sebnem. We hope you will compete again next
year.
