Outlook will automatically open the Badtrans attachment when you read the
email. You will probably see MS media player open up and announce that it
can't open this type of file.
I upgraded to Norton Antivirus 2000 the first day that one of these messages
came in, and it effectively scans your Outlook email before the attachment
has a chance to open. On average I am still receiving two infected emails a
day, mainly from olive growers. It is worth updating your antivirus
software!
