<pre>The problem in S. England is getting enough heat and sunshine to ripen the
fruit. There may be better varieties than Pendolino [which I grow] for this
climate, I do not know for sure, but the 'hours of sunshine' is still the
problem. The fruit at present is still immature with, say, 20-30 days of
sunshine left if we are lucky.
