<pre>Hi Nick,
I thought I'd make an attempt to clarify Mark's post about his oil selling
for $350.00 (I think).
In Mark's defence, his oil was part of a charity auction. The fact that the
promoters raised alot of money for his oil is a testament to the "charity
auction" organisers and the public who so generously supported the cause.
Quite clearly the oil is not worth that sort of money, I don't think Mark
was trying to say it was, just that the whole evening was a huge success.
I recently attended a charity auction for the local school, and saw a man
pay $650.00 for a signed Port Power jumper. (this was not worth it, in my
opinion).
My point is that he donated a bottle of his oil for a charity auction to
raise money for drought affected farmers. Obviously attendees were in a
giving mood and one generously donated $350.00 to the cause and received a
bottle of this excellent oil in return.
I don't believe we should be condemning him for this,
Kind regards
Lisa
