Do you get the Australian Olive Grower? If so look back through the last
couple of years and you will find an article we wrote on pollination which
you might find interesting and useful. My files are in a muddle and I cannot
find the reference off hand.

Be careful about self- fertile varieties. There were many claims for
such (Barnea and Frantoio are two example) which have proved completely
wrong and a financial disaster for those who took that advice. Why take the
risk? Mixed planting is so easy.
