<pre>Bugger is right, we have had the same problem in our grove, hot
dry north winds, burnt pollen, very few fruit on Kalamata.
Throughout the grove there are some cv that have a reasonable
amount of fruit on them but will not need pickers this year.
In our grove every 4th row is Pendolino (40 trees to a row) we
use these as pollinators.
Hopefully next year will be better.
