Thank you Kaye for that timely piece on California olive oil.

I have just returned from Sydney where I poked around some of the 'foodie'
shops in search of extra virgin olive oil, one 375ml bottle was selling for
A$30!!!!. The bottle did have an organic label and was sold in an organic
food store but most people would not be able to tell the difference between
that and a 4litre can of extra virgin olive oil, selling for much less. Did
I see the word 'marketing' in Kayes' article?
