Shame, shame, shame!!!! You should be a member of your local
association. Only then can you influence the direction they take, the
way the state body is constituted, and you benefit by the interaction
with other growers as a bonus! I would not leave the local association
as they are a vital voice for the smaller (not physically, but in number
of trees) grower in the state association.

Everyone should be a member of their local association, ask questions of
the more established growers and comment on responses. Otherwise the
Federal body will be run by the big corporates because they can!
