<pre>Alan, Did you attempt to contact Olives Australia?. Clearly we have been sold a
faulty product. Half my trees have large fruit similar to Hardy Mammoth but the
remainder are about the size of Nevadillo but with a leaf similar to Sevillano.
My email address is dgrimes@... if anyone else has this problem. No need
to bother the group!

Don,
I have had exactly the same experience with grafted trees from Olives
Australia [supposedly Sevillanos], planted 1998.
Last year I queried the accuracy of the variety, on a posting with this
group, but no one indicated they had a similar experience.
Mike Wilson described some characteristics of the true Sevillano and as
there were some common aspects I put the differences down to the drought,
the first fruiting and my management of an irrigation regime. It is a
bitter/sweet comfort to find someone else has found a similar situation.
