Re: NOAH Australia - Covering Quality & Food Safety Standards in Australia

Delighted to hear about the floating of NOAH and will log in to
www.noahaustralia.com. au with anticipation. (Pun intended!)

We've revisited supermarket shelves and again found some labelling
(or lack of it) unhelpful, both for OZ oils and imported, including
one OZ oil with neither manufacture nor use by dates recorded on the
bottle. Stockists need education too.

From a quality point of view, year of harvest is surely as important
as 'best by' or 'use by' date? Then consumers will know how old the
oil is and can take this into account in a buying decision. Will NOAH
have something to say on quality vis a vis use-by date? Some
producers offer long keeping times.

Cheers.
