Hi Mike
You dont want CO2 as it can still cause oxidation.
Nitrogen is readily available in food grade quality in a ''D'' size cylinder
(1,400
litres gas) or an "E" size (3,500 litres). If finances are tight "D" size is
$35
plus rental, you can hire them by the day at 28c. "D" size is about knee
height.
You test the air above the oil with an oxygen meter, no oxygen = all nitrogen.
I think these maters can be hired.
