Variety: Manzanillo
Year planted:1996 (100), 1997 (100)
Area (sq. meter):
Region:Tamworth NSW Au
Why: supposedly a "dual purpose" fruit, and also mid-season ripening. The first 100 were supposed to be Mission, but subsequent DNA profiling showed them to bew the same as the second 100. Mission was supposed to be an early season fruit, also dual purpose.
Variety: Hardys Mammoth
Year planted:1998 (100)
Area (sq. meter):
Region:Tamworth NSW Au
Why: Late season fruit and good table olive. Have found them to be a slow poroducer - this year is the first time we have had sufficient fruit to even consider a "harvest" (total of 20kg from the 100 trees

)
Variety: Frantoio
Year planted:2002
Area (sq. meter):
Region:Tamworth NSW Au
Why: Oil fruit, replacement for some of the Manzanillo. Will be progressively substituted for the weaker Manz trees. Seem to do well in this climate.
Total area is about .75 hectare
