Sadoun installs the Largest Olive Oil Decanter in Jordan

Sadoun installs the largest Olive Oil Decanter in Jordan
For over 80 years, the Sadoun family has been in the production of olive oil. For the harvest season 2006/2007 a grand olive oil processing plant has been installed at Sadoun Sons Olive Oil mill, Jordan.

Total processing capacity is between 7 to 10 tons of olives an hour through two Alfa Laval centrifugal decanters.

Sadoun manufactures their own hoppers, deleafer, washers, grinders, and malaxing systems. For this plant, Sadoun installed 4 sets of ( hoppers, washers, ginders), and 16 sets of malaxers. The malaxation tanks have a total capacity of 16 tons (36,000 lbs). Malaxer are used to knead the olive paste to break the emulsion and release the oil.

The Two decanters used are:
Alfa Laval NX X37
Alfa Lavel NX S28

Centifugal Separators
8 Alfa Laval separators are used to process the oil and olive water.

BTW, that is me beside the S28 decanter.
