Australian National Conference

Registration for the AOA National Olive Conference, '2001 An Olive Odyessy' are
open. The Program, Registration and Information Brochure has been loeaded to
this Group's File section in .pdf format (Acrobat Reader is required to read
it). The Conference will be held at Cypress Lakes Resort, Pokolbin in the heart
of the Hunter Valley NSW.

Speakers of international standing will be part of the Conference and topics
inlcude technological avances in olive growing, land use practices and uses, new
perspectives in olive growing, business, export and marketing concerns facing
the industry as well as detailed considerations related to questions of
biodynamic and organic olive farming and other horticultural matters. There
will also be two days of pre-conference activities with workshops within and
visits to local olive groves. There will be an oil tasting session conducted by
one of Australia's leading experts.

Winners of the AOA Annual Olive Oil Awards will be announced during the
Conference and will be able to sample the winning oils and hear judging
comments.

The Conference will be precede by the seventh AOA AGM on Thursday September 27,
followed by a Welcoming Cocktail Party.
