marketing Viva
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>One thing puzzled me-how did Viva contribute to the marketeting of EVOO? It was my understanding that the IOOC have made the biggest $ contribution towards marketing in Aust. It was Viva that got trashed last year by the Choice magazine tasting panel. Credit where credits due. Roger Farquhar [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] </pre> </td></tr></table> |

<pre>Roger >It was Viva that got trashed > last year by the Choice magazine tasting panel. This was later nominally retracted of course. And there was some questioning of the adjudicating panel and their methodology. >how did Viva contribute to the marketing of EVOO? They spent a lot of investor dollars on Angelina and sponsorship. Principally to get brand recognition/sales but a spin-off was that the consumer in the supermarket became more aware of "Australian" olive oil. I think some of those investor dollars went down the drain as a result of what was generally suspected in the industry and finally admitted on Landline.
