<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>Hi all, The Organic Federation of Australia is proud to host Australia's premier organic event, the National Organic Conference, which is being held in Adelaide on the 2-3 October 2003 with events and tours extending over the weekend. The Second National Organic Conference is a logical development following the National Organic Conference in Sydney in 2001. It is OFA's intention to hold a National Conference every two years at different locations around Australia. It is also a precursor to the forthcoming 15th International IFOAM Congress in Adelaide in 2005 - in Australia for the first time. This event will draw intense interest from a wide range of institutions both here and abroad. The OFA 2003 conference will assist the definition of the broadening role of Organic agriculture in sustainable development. It will bring together members of the organic, scientific, business and consumer communities to explore sustainability issues for development. Sumptous gourmet dinners and food and wine events will intermingle with researchers from fields of agriculture, energy, ecology, food and society presenting papers and leading discussions and workshops, as well as tours of fruit bowl areas north of Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills and McLaren vale.
