Oils from Lucca
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>Here are the oils I brought back from Lucca. All are extra virgin. If anyone knows anything about any of these, please let me know. AND if anyone can tell me which are the best ones ;-) let me know, since I intend to keep 2 of them for myself, and give the rest as gifts. Rocchi (dark green label with Lucca tower with trees on top) Tenuta di Forci (label says: dell'antico frantoio di forci) Stefanini de Tronchetti (dei colli Lucchesi) Olio Colle (colle di compito) Cesari (an unfiltered e.v. oil) any info appreciated. THANKS. Margaret </pre> </td></tr></table> |

<pre>Margaret I am afraid that I cannot help but there is a book which you might find useful. "The Olive Oil Companion" - The authoritative connoisseur's guide. Judy Ridgeway. Penguin Books. 1997. The oils you mentioned are not listed but the book does provide fascinating insights into the industry that we maust all aspire to. Regards Peter </pre> </td></tr></table> |
