My name is Iaco Shapiro and I am a new member
to the olive oil group. I am 29 years old and I have
no formal experience as an olive oil professional.
I am the publisher of Minnesota's only Italian-
American newspaper and so most of my
experiences with olive oil are related to the
consumer end, restaurants/nightclubs etc.
My current project is the launch of an Israeli
blend which will be titled IsRoil Olive Oil.

Subsequent projects will include the launch of
a truffle oil, a Tuscany blend, and a new concept
to be titled "OliVino" Olive Oil Bar. I predict that
beer and wine bars with NO FOOD only olive oil,
spices, bread, and ethnic music will become the
next big rage in America.

This is all explained at www.isRoilOliveOil.com It is extra virgin,
kosher, first cold press, organic, and hand picked on a kibbutz. It is a
blend however only amongst oils produced in Israel. The target market can
include anyone who wants to try oil from the holyland but will focus more on
kosher deli's and small gourmet shoppes, Jewish bookstores etc. Eventually I
will be expanding product line to include products with more of a mass
appeal but will not do so until this is off and running.

P.S. I will be conducting my first (rather informal) olive oil tasting at
the Shorewood Greek nightclub in Fridley MN, USA. On Feb 6th. If anyone
would like to submit a product to compete against oils from different
countries have your MN or USA distributor contact me or contact me directly
and I will see to it that your product is entered. We expect about 150
people present at the tasting but there will will about 20 or so of them
actually doing the tasting and voting.
