<pre>Gentlemen, I’m a Turkish citizen, 43 years old, married with a Turkish women and have two children; one daughter 16 years old and one son 14 years old. My wifes name is Sibel, my daughter is Ece and my son is Efe. After I graduated from an American University in Istanbul from Business Administration, I professionally worked 18 years. In olive oil business, I was the Plant Manager between the years 1990 and 1995 of the second biggest edible oil refinery of Turkey. From 1995 until 1997 I was the General Manager of a olives crushing plant with a daily crushing capacity of 280 tons a day. Since 1990, I have attended all the meetings and congresses in various countries of International Olive Oil Concil as a member of the Turkish Delegation. In 1997, I set up my own company, namely Murat Gezer. I have invested for a multipurpose packaging plant for edible oils in Ayvalýk.Ayvalýk is about 150 kms north from Izmir, the second largest city in Turkey with its very importent port in Eagean Sea. In my plant , I have oil storage facilities and oil filling machines. I can store 150 tons of crude oils in concrete tanks and 50 tons of ready to ship oils in stainless steel tanks. With my filling machines, I can fill tins from 1 liter up to 18 liters in every possible different volumes. Beside this machine, I can fill drums through an electronic weigh bridge. The whole investment has been financed only from my own capital . I have neigther debts to any supplier nor loans to any bank. Until today, I could succeed to export 7 containers olive oil to Australia. 3 of those containers have been sold to my customers in Australia and Tasmania in consumer packaging, namely 4 liter tins with "LaVita" brand name. The rest have been sold in drums again to Australian repackers. Unfortunately, the competition in the local Turkish market is very hard to me , because of lack of my working capital. In Turkey, the sale terms are about 60 to 90 days and this period is mainly financed by producers. However, for my export sales, I can finance my sales through Letter of Credits which I ask my customer to open to my favour covering the sale amount, ( the amount of my Proforma Invoice ) Anyhow, I have also a registered trade mark namely " Gemili " for my local sales which I hope to realize one day in the future. I want to expand my sales to other countries than Australia and therefore ask to everyone in this list to help me with their suggestions. You can have a look of my web page at the address www.gemili.net , where you can see of how my packaging is, as well. Hoping to have news from your sides soon, I remain Murat GEZER Tel: (90) 216 385 1064 (90) 532 256 2970 Fax: (90) 216 467 1686 </pre> </td></tr></table> |
