<pre>Regarding exporting/importing olive oil.

Olive oil production in Australia is increasing. In Western Australia
some 40 olive oils were assessed as part of the Perth Royal Show. Most
states in Australia are now producing olive oil and I guess that there
are some 200-300 EVO labels.

Howver many are boutique - but there are also large projects some upto
400 Ha of olives that will be looking for international markets.

A common variety for olive oil production in Australia is Frantoio. This
gives a fruity oil, pungent and bitter - quite superb.
