Who am I

<pre>Dear all From my occasional postings you may know that I grow olives in the Hunter Valley. We are in the Belford area, the part of which has been 'geographically aligned' with Pokolbin. We have 1800 trees, the main ones being Frantoio, Correggiola and Nevadillo Blanco, which range in age from 3 years to 6 months. We have no fruit on this year but we did prune fairly severely last August. I am most grateful to the group for all the discussions - I have certainly learnt a lot, well I have learnt how much I do not know about olives. I also belong to the Hunter Olive Association, which has over 200 members and I am the editor of their monthly newsletter. From time to time I use parts of postings on a subject, putting them together into an article. The source and authors are always acknowledged. I have also used some postings in full and for those I have written to the author to ask permission to publish the message. If you have any objections to this, please advise me. I would be very happy to receive articles from group members about any aspect of olive growing in your part of the world. Photos (preferably in .jpg format would also be appreciated and could be sent direct to me) I encourage members of the HOA to join the group (and a number already belong) however the majority do not have access to the internet and others are very new to it and so are still building up confidence.
