What are we
Hi All,
This may seem like a dumb question but if I don't ask I wont find out A person that makes wine is a "winemaker", "vintner", "cellar master" etc. etc. A person that grinds wheat into flour is a miller. What do you call a person that makes olive oil? Inputs from around the world would be most welcome Regards Mike and Juliana Riebeeck Olive Boutique - South Africa Last edited by AdminOliveOil : April 5th, 2006 at 08:25 PM. |

Re: What are we
After pondering this question at some length "PSYCHOLOGICAL INBALANCED'
may best fit the bill. especially if they have some misguided notion that they will make their fortune. Last edited by AdminOliveOil : April 5th, 2006 at 08:25 PM. |

Re: What are we
It's trademarked (worldwide I think) by a French company.

Re: What are we
Re: Olivier
Anyone with a good command of French? I think this is a noun in common usage. If so, can't be trademarked. There is "Oliviers & Co." in NY City, a boutique at Grand Central Station. They sell 2.5 dl EVOOs at US$17-25 a bottle; their label that identifies the exporter & origin. I think "olivier" is perfect.
