Commercial Table Olive Professional Programme Launched
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>Hi everyone. Olive Business (Salsi Pty Ltd) has launched Table Olive Savantes in Melbourne (Australia). Building on the success of the international Extra Virgin Olive Oil Savantes programme, this initiative will provide much needed support for the new Australian and New Zealand commercial table olive industries. The most important element of the Savantes approach is to provide participants with the ability to assess their products in the culinary context and keep up to date with the changing trends and requirements of the marketplace. They can then adjust their production, processing or purchasing accordingly. The international Savantes network is expanding rapidly and now covers four continents. It includes consumers, executive chefs, olive oil retailers, table olive retailers, food retailers, distributors, importers, consultants, government, processors and large and small scale producers. Learning continues between formal courses through online discussion groups and organised tastings. The first three-day Table Olive Savantes Qualifier Course will be run in Melbourne on 18-20 November 2002. For more information about both Table Olive Savantes and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Savantes, please visit www.savantes.com/savantes. Best wishes, Michael _________________________________ Michael Field Melbourne, Australia www.olivebusiness.com and www.savantes.com/savantes </pre> </td></tr></table> |
