IOOC Classification for New Seasons EVOO Top 20

<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>Hi All

We have received a number of enquiries about the tests required for an olive
oil to be submitted for the 'Southern Hemisphere New Season Extra Virgin
Olive Oils Top Twenty Promotion'.

Entries must be accompanied by a certificate stating that the olive oils
entered have been classified as extra virgin by an organoleptic panel and
chemical testing laboratory recognised by the International Olive Oil
Council.

The Classification includes a chemical analysis and an organoleptic
assessment. Both must be carried out by an IOOC recognised laboratory and
organoleptic panel. Detailed information about the testing is available
from http://www.olivebusiness.com/newseas...c_testing.htm. An
information sheet can also be downloaded from the site.

We have also listed testing facilities who have indicated that they will be
able to test the oils quickly. We have also made the price list that one of
the facilities provided available on the site.

For further information or questions about the promotion please contact us
by phone (+61 3 9387 9919) or visit www.olivebusiness.com/newseasonoils.

Best wishes,
Michael

<pre>Hi

Following the e-mail I sent on Monday about Testing To IOOC International
Trade Standard for New Season EVOO Top Twenty, a few people have contacted
us about the testing.

The most cost-effective and fastest turnaround for organoleptic and chemical
testing that has been found by Olive Business is by Chemiservice in Italy,
who require 500ml of olive oil. Oils can be couriered, but we have found
that oils posted by air mail get to Europe in around 6 days, and it is far
cheaper. Turnaround for testing is 48 hours.

The Chemiservice price list is available on the website
(http://www.olivebusiness.com/newseas...oc_testing.htm).

If you would like to discuss your options for testing please email
salsi@...

Please contact me on +61 3 9387 9919 for any more information,

Best wishes
Michael Field
