Hail damge
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>I don't think there is any simple answer on the hail question about subsequent fungal damage. We get hail quite frequently but usually much later in September (equivalent to March) and any further problems depend on the weather conditions. I think you would be unlucky as the Australian summers are usually dry. Talking of weather we had 20 cm of very sticky snow last night which flattened many young olive trees and broke one off completely. I will add this to the list (which includes being dug up by wild boar and or porcupines) of hazards of olive growing. Cheers Brian Chatterton </pre> </td></tr></table> |
