Olive Oil Prices in Italy
We have seen a huge upsurge in oil prices from Italy this year. Was wondering what others have experienced.

What kind of increases are you seeing? For artisanal oils, the change is not so much in Italy - the small producers have more control of their own production, but for larger institutional producers, even those making good quality EVO, the increase has been huge.

hmmm
I have not seen a big price lift in domestic prices. but bidding for specialty oils is getting fierce as more and more people specify these oils. Also, the big wine producers are labeling their own oil bought from small producers like me and charging a significant markup due to brand association.
