Asking for advice
I am from Uruguay. I have 936 trees of one year planting. I am thinking of planting more but I want to know if there is a cost reduce `percentage planting more trees.

The main cost in olive growing are pruning and harvesting, these wont change significantly with the number of trees you have. The other costs of keeping the olive grove, will be lower by tree if you plant more trees.
Can you please tell which varieties are you using in Uruguay? Are they growing well in your climate? Cheers João Granja Correia

Here people who sell trees say you can have a 10% cost reduce if you plant more than 20 hect. I think it is rather optimistic We plant a lot of varietys and they are going well for now. I have arbequine manzanilla picual and frontoio What do you have ? Cheers Selva ![]() |
