Olive Business

Being in business to make money is what business is all about. As people who care about the industry, the industry should be attractive enough to potential investors to put their hard earned money in it. I am not only talking about equity investors, but also about the hard working farmers out there. > The mis-supply of plants may have stopped (or at least we hope it has), but > we aren't convinced that prospective growers, even yet, are receiving the > best advice about OIL VARIETIES to plant. That is where the OliveOil group can help in educating and by spreading the word. If you or the other members of this group care about those prospective growers, or the current growers for that matter, you need to promote this group and invite others to join. You know, when I setup this free for all group the main purpose was to educate and get people to ask. Everyone is welcome to join and participate. You might get diverse opinions about matters, but at least the dicsussion will bring out the best in people. In addition, I would like to ask the members we have on board from Spain, Greece, Turkey, and Tunisia to participate in the discussions. How is the industry in you area? what are some of the issues facing the farmers there? etc?
