Quoting and Posting

<pre>All, While I understand the need to quote previous messages, sometimes, it is a very good idea to quote SELECTIVELY. By that I mean delete the bits that are not extremely relevant to your reply and put your comments within the body as interjections, almost. I am not picking on anyone in particular! I know many of us have fast, high bandwidth connections to the web but there are also manmy who do not. Please, in consideration of these people who have to suffer 56K dial up speeds (and oftentimes worse) make your postings as succinct as possible. The best way to do this when replying to a previous post is to edit your response to remove extraneous material from previous posts. While I'm on my soapbox, and this is not a major problem (just happens occasionally), but When starting a new thread by replying to a previously posted message, it makes thread following easier if you change the subject line as well as deleting all the previous message.
