course run by our local comune work done at Perugia was quoted extensively.
I suggest you contact the Agricultural Faculty at the University there but
I warn you it will all be in Italian.
The recommended leaf area index to allow light penetration is 3 to
4 and we suggest in our book a prunometer to measure the LAI for novice
pruners.
