Olive-Leaf Extract ** Search for Scientific Support
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>Hi all, As one who deals in aromatic products and essential oils (as well as olive oil) I'd be interested in knowing the source for any scientific proof of anti-viral properties of Olive-Leaf extract - or any other extract. There are many distilled/extracted plant oils that are antimicrobial but I've yet to see scientific evidence of anti-viral properties in any of the Great Spirit's plants. Oregano oil, for example, will knock various strains of strep in hours and kills e-coli on contact. And we believe it's anti-viral and empirical observation supports this. There's no shortage of empirical/anedotal support for anti-viral properties in many natural products, but no scientific studies that I'm aware of. Please prove me wrong if you have any sources - it would make me very happy .. ;-) Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com ****************************** > Not only has it been empirically proved that the olive leaf has anti-viral > properties but it also has anti-bacterial ones as well.
