Mill Capacity
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>Hi William 20 tons of olives are hardly a worthy quantity for investing in a mill in and by yourself. What you need to do is look around your town and estimate how many hectares of olives are being pressed and where do these farmers take their olives to press. If the quantity is sufficient to, let say, fill the capacity for one mill at a 1ton/hour for 30 days (running 24 hrs/day), then you have a worthy investment. Otherwise, it is not worth the investment and you are better off pressing your olives at a public mill. Another alternative, you could partner with other farmers to establish a cooperative for pressing your olives. Best regards Jamal Sadoun </pre> </td></tr></table> |
