This is starting to look like a commercial transaction, which would possibly be
better conducted off list. Not only is the list method of contact very much
NON-private, but it is also using up a lot of limited (for some) bandwidth.

There is no problem with making initial contact through the list, in fact it is
a good way to do so, but the continuation of the transaction via the list would
seem to me to be not a good commercial idea.
