<pre>We too tasted this oil when in Spain and found it a really wonderful oil
along with 4 other oils/producers in that area of Spain. We are actually
about to import a small trial quantity of EVOO oils (2 of which are Cert.
Organic) from Catalan as they offer a quite different flavour from the
Tuscan oils and the main area of Spain which most of our friends find a bit
"biting at the back of the throat" for their liking. Incidentally the Barnea
oil from Ponder in Marlborough, NZ, consistently rates very high in our very
unscientific taste tests at home with friends and lovers of the Oil from the
Olive. It does tend to be smoother (bland?) however it has a particularly
grassy flavour with only a mild bite which is extremely pleasing.
