Olive Pickling Classes
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>Dear All, The Hunter Olive Association will be holding another olive pickling couse in February this year, featuring Prof Stan Kailis of the University of Western Australia. This is a two day course but there is no need to take both days as each day is a stand-alone course in its own right: Saturday 28 February 2004 - Cessnock TAFE (venue to be confirmed) is the introduction to olive pickling, a hands-on and theory day including evaluation of olives, pickling and tapenade making. Sunday 29 February 2004 - Pokolbin (venue to be confirmed) is the advanced course designed for people that already have some experience and want to know more, including troubleshooting and quality aspects. Both courses come with workbooks, lunch and morning tea is provided. Each day's course cost $165 ($110 to Hunter Olive Association members) and booking is essential as we aim for groups of about 12 - 18 and it is first in, best dressed. There is plenty of accommodation availabe in the area. More information - contact Mike Wilson of the Hunter Olive Association webmaster@... or 0419 244785 or 02 6579 1004. Regards, Mike Wilson HOA. </pre> </td></tr></table> |
