Frost & yield per tree
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>Stan the figures on the 1985 frost came from; L'Olivier ( there is another book in French with this title) by Felix Ereteo published by Solar 1988. They are on pp 80 Also in this book pp 67 is a figure of 220 kg of olives from one tree. Is this a record? The photo shows other trees nearby but unfortunately no indication of yield per ha., yield of oil or density of trees. Cheers Brian Chatterton. <pre>Dear Brian Thank you for the refernce. Regarding yield. We have picked over 200kg of some 150 year old trees in WA. Also when I was in Calabria last year I saw trees that had about 800kg/tree! Are you going to Bari. If youare we may meet and have lunch. Stan </pre> </td></tr></table> |
