Verticilium Wilt
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>Hello, I am a new olive grower in Australia with plantings nearing 3 years of age. I have been greatly disappointed to see healthy, vigorously growing trees suddenly have branches die. Upon further testing I have learned that Verticillium bacteria is present in the soil. What can be done to prevent this disease? Will the trees grow out of this problem if the dead boughs are pruned back and new growth resumes? Does it seem to have a pattern of being more prevalent in certain varieties? Thanks Mark </pre> </td></tr></table> |
