Borers in olives trees NSW
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>We have recently discovered what appears to be borers in 5 of 36 trees which were planted in December 99. The trees have sawdust stuck on the trunk which when removed reveals a clean hole about 1-2mm diameter. We have not been able to get anything out of the holes. As we have recently planted another 1000 trees this is of some concern. Can anyone give us any advice on what type of bug this could be and how we could get rid of it. We are in Braidwood NSW (Southern Tablelands) We have spoken to several authorities but no one seems to be able to identify our problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Regards Paul & Kerry </pre> </td></tr></table> |
