<pre>I was having a bad time with hares until I used blood & bone, just a
pinch or 2 per tree did the trick. I have theorised that the animal will
not be active in an area which it cannot identify as its own after
marking it with its own odour. The blood & bone ( & probably any other
strong odour) easily masks the animals scent.
