<pre>Hello Bill, temperature increases the speed of all chemical reactions and oil oxidation (Rancidification) is one of them. 100 F for a few days shouldn't cause that much problems, if the oil wasn't exposed to direct light or had a large surface area in contact with the air. Oil should be stored around 60 F (15 C) away from light, at lower temperature one risks solidification of the fat, which can produce other conservation problems.
