A fair rate?
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>I have been asked to harvest some olives for oil here in South Australia. I own a petrol powered hand held shaker (Carratu) I use for my own modest grove. The machine is very efficient given trees that are not ridiculously large. With a labour crew of 3 (supplied by the owner) I can pick a substantial amount in a day. There is little fruit damage , say against the compressed air rake system. A fair amount of travelling is involved so I suppose I will have to allow for some fuel. Does any one have an idea as to what to charge? Should I charge per day/kilo? Any input would be appreciated. Regards Russell </pre> </td></tr></table> |
