The spice of life?
<table border=0 cellpadding=2 cellspacing="0"><tr><td>
<pre>There’s always been debate over which makes the best oil, single varietal or blended. Even the AOA president has joined the fray by offering his personal opinion that "blended products are the best. Single varietal oils may have a small market niche but the best oils seem to be blends" This view is somewhat challenged by the latest results of the Olives South Australia Olive Competition as posted on the AOA website. This competition, run by the capable Lisa Rowntree, is arguably the biggest in Australia with over 142 oil entries alone are; medal winners are Table olives single varietal 4 EVOO single varietal 27 EVOO blended 28 Of the EVOO blended one was >90% Manzanillo, another Paragon 50% Correggiolo 50% (whats the diff?) & 4 not specified. Best BULK OIL and BEST COMMERCIAL OIL of Show was 100% KORONEIKI So from these results what conclusion do you draw? Authentically yours... ps no responsibility for maths...always check the others' figures... [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] </pre> </td></tr></table> |
